Boualem Khokhi has become the first player to score in both the AFC Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup finals.
The Algerian forward scored twice in Al Sadd's 4-2 win over Sydney FC in the Asian club competition on Tuesday night, helping his side reach the final of the continental tournament for the second year running.
Khokhi, who joined the Qatar-based club from Al Ain in January, has been a key figure in their title challenge this season.
He has already scored six goals in all competitions this campaign, with his impressive performances earning him praise from fans and critics alike.
In the final of the Club World Cup, which takes place in December, Al Sadd will face another tough opponent as they look to add to their growing trophy collection.
Despite facing some stiff competition, Khokhi is confident that his team can come out on top and secure their place in history.
"Al Sadd have been doing well this season and we want to continue our success," he said.
"We have a great squad and we believe in ourselves."
For Khokhi, scoring in both the AFC Champions League and Club World Cup finals is a proud moment in his career.
"It's always a special feeling when you score in a big match like this," he added.
"I'm just happy to be part of something special and help my team achieve its goals."
